Pro install tips:
  1. Cut back to fresh, undamaged PTFE liner. Wrap the cut area tightly with tape before cutting to control braid fray; remove tape after cutting.
  2. Slide the nut over the hose, then seat the new ferrule fully on the PTFE liner—no stray braid under the ferrule.
  3. Clamp the fitting body in aluminum vice jaws; tighten the nut with an aluminum AN wrench until fully seated.
  4. Pressure-test the line before driving. For EFI, use a 10 micron or finer (≤10 μm) pressure-side filter.
